We Achieved Our Goal and More

Our goal for our Flight 93 project was $2,000. Last week, thanks to our Greenhouse Plant sale we exceeded our goal. Our grand total  is $ 2348.33. We are going to present our check to the HALO  foundation in the near future.

Raising Money For Our Flight 93 Memorial Campaign

For the month of  March we sponsored  3  fundraisers Hat Day, Crazy Hair Day, and support our favorite Team Day. To participate in these events students had to pay $1. For Hat Day students could wear any hat of their choice because our school only allows students to wear hats on the last Friday of each month. We raised $245.65  for this fundraiser. For Crazy Hair Day students could put their hair in any crazy style. We raised $287.40 for this fundraiser. For Team Day students could wear any kind of team apparel. We raised $139.23. We have raised $1632.58 already. To reach our goal of $2000 we need to raise $367.42.   

Pajama Day

  Last week on March 6, we did pajama day to raise money.  The way the students could praticipate was to donate  a dollar. We raised $453. We are now  half way to our goal. Our next benefit will be hat day on March 13.

Beginning Our Blog

Since the beginning of the 08-09 school year, our STLP showcase has been working on a project to raise money for the Flight 93 Memorial Campaign. To help spread the word, we have created this blog. Take a look and see what Flaherty Elementary has done to help the heroes of Flight 93.
